The economic damage caused by the Hurricane Ian could reach up to $75 billion, according to a projection released from a data firm called Enki Research, which studies the financial impact of storms. The estimate put the best-case scenario for total Florida storm damage at $66 billion, with the high of $75 billion. The median projection of cost amounts is $71 billion, according to computer models. Hurricane Ian will be among the 10 costliest storms in U.S. history, Enki Research added, that the total coast for Hurricane Ian may end up being of the five costliest Hurricane’s in U.S. history after the damage is fully assessed.
